Shore Pine

Tree Description
A highly adaptable, small-to-medium evergreen conifer native to the Pacific Coast, growing 20–50 feet tall with an often twisted, shrubby, or rounded form. It is characterized by short, 1–3 inch dark green needles in bundles of two, thin grayish-brown bark, and small, egg-shaped, prickly cones. Ideal for harsh coastal environments, it thrives in poor, sandy, or rocky soils, salt spray, and bogs.
