Tree Description
The Sourwood, also known as the lily-of-the-valley tree, is a small, slow-growing deciduous understory tree native to the Eastern US, renowned for its brilliant red fall color and fragrant white, summer-blooming flowers. Typically 25–50 ft tall with a slender, often crooked trunk and drooping branches, it thrives in acidic, moist soil.
